MS/HS EARLY RELEASE: TODAY June 3rd, dismissal 1:05 pm.
CHROMEBOOK COLLECTION: Chromebooks will be collected during 1st hour: TODAY - Sophomores and Thursday Juniors.
HS STUDENT COUNCIL: this group of students are the spirit seekers to get the student body involved with spirit days, banner and float building. They are the planners of all the Homecoming and Snowcoming Festivities! In addition they Host the Staff vs Students Game and the Powderpuff Game, the Toys for Tots School Spirit Challenge and a host of other activities. Students in 8th - 11th grade may apply. If this is something you may be interested please pick up an application from Mrs. Goyings in the office today!
VARSITY BOYS BASEBALL D4 REGIONAL SEMI FINAL: TODAY Wednesday, June 3rd hosted by Coleman at 5pm. Holton vs Mt Pleasant Sacred Heart, Fighting Irish. Show your support if you can. Our baseball team earned its 5th district championship in program history and its first since 2007. On Holton!
MS/HS CROSS COUNTRY MEETING: this Thursday, June 4th in Mr. Horenziak’s room #109, during Seminar. There are also sign-up sheets on the office window.
HS CREDIT RECOVERY: If you are signed up for credit recovery, your paperwork and money is due by this Thursday, June 4th. Please bring your form and payment to Mrs. Goyings.
VARSITY GIRLS SOFTBALL D4 REGIONAL SEMI FINAL: this Saturday, June 6th at Mt Pleasant Sacred Heart at 12 noon! Holton vs St Louis Sharks! Show your support if you can. Our softball team captured its 12th district championship in the last 14 seasons. On Holton!
ALL STUDENTS: KIDS’ FISHING CONTEST this Saturday, June 6th. Registration from 7am - 10 am at Goodrich Park Pavilion in Whitehall. If interested forms are in the office.
SPORTS PHYSICALS: Schedule your Sports physical! There are 4 opportunities to schedule an appointment here at our school through the Hackley Community Care office for $25. There are flyers in the office and in the hallways with a QR code and phone number to schedule your appointment. REMINDER: Every middle and high school student athlete must have a physical on file to try out for a team for the 2026-27 school year. Take advantage of this opportunity! Flyer: Sports Physicals

SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS & SENIORS: Permission slips are now available Western Michigan University campus tours this spring. See Ms. Wisniewski for a permission slip. Permission slips will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
JUNIORS & SENIORS: Sign up for college representative visits outside of Ms. Wisniewski's office or through this Google Form: https://forms.gle/A4ENsMaQvLwNnG9t8. As a reminder, these are visits where the admissions representative comes to the school (library) to talk about their college. This is NOT a commitment to the institution, it's just a way for you to get more information about it!"

STUDENT PARKING LOT: SENIOR PARKING SPOTS: These are paid parking spots that Seniors have paid for and painted. Please be respectful and do not park in these spaces during the school day. Thank you!

HS STUDENTS: Need some hygiene items like shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, or feminine products? You can get them for FREE! Just stop by the office to grab a quick signup form. A bag with your items will be put in your locker every other month — NO COST, totally confidential, and all provided by the We Are H.E.R.E. program.
SPORTS PHYSICALS: Student Athletes MUST have a current Sports Physical on file to participate in practice and game
STUDENTS THAT ARE DRIVING TO SCHOOL: MUST have a parking PERMIT! Permits are available in the office, please see Mrs. Goyings. PERMITS are $5 dollar and are REQUIRED for all students who drive to school.
REMINDER: Students are not allowed to go to their gym locker during the day unless it is at the time of their scheduled gym class. This means students/student athletes should not access their gym lockers during pass time, lunch or other class times.
REMINDER: THERE ARE NO BACKPACKS, COATS OR BLANKETS ALLOWED IN CLASSROOMS!
REMINDER: THERE ARE NO CELL PHONES IN THE CLASSROOMS OR HALLWAYS (Students may ONLY have cell phones at Lunch).
ALL STUDENTS: Please do NOT enter the library if there is a sign on the door saying that the library is closed. Come back at a later time when the library is open and there is no sign on the door.
PARENTS: REQUIRED All students need to have their parents update their demographic information in Powerschool. Emergency cards & paper forms will not be sent home so it is very important that information & forms are updated and completed in Powerschool. To Login go to the www.holtonschools.com website scroll to bottom of page and choose Powerschool. Once you login, go to Demographic Update (lower left of the screen) and Complete Steps to update current information and complete all the forms (Handbook, concussion, media consent etc.). Be sure to include an email address! Click Submit once completed. If you are having trouble logging on please contact the MS/HS office.
