CONGRATULATIONS: to the Holton Chess Team for an incredible performance last night at Orchard View High School! The match ended in a balanced tie between both teams.
HS TUTORIAL: On Thursday, there will be no HS After School Tutorial or Testing Center
TESTING CENTER: On Wednesday, there will be a Testing Center in room 114.
SPRING DRIVER'S TRAINING: Sign-ups are on the office window. You MUST be 14years, 8months by March 23, 2026 to be eligible to participate. Any questions please see Mrs. Goyings.
SKI & SNOWBOARD CLUB: The next Ski and Snowboard trip is planned for February 12th. To make things less confusing everyone needs to fill out the paperwork. Choose either not renting equipment, skis, or snowboard. You can also write in any other needs. This information must be sent in electronically by me on Monday February 9th. We must have at least 20 people signed up and paid by Monday February 9th, or the trip will be cancelled. Prices: $25 covers lift ticket, rental, and transportation. Sign-up sheets are on the Office window.
HS SOFTBALL: High School Girls interested in playing softball this upcoming spring season please sign up in the sheet on the office window.
POPCORN: Popcorn and Brownie sales during all lunches Every FRIDAY! Popcorn is .50 cents and Brownie's One Dollar
COLLEGE CORNER: COLLEGE ADVISOR - Abby Wisniewski
During February, students can complete a career word search outside the library and turn it in to Ms. Wisniewski for a prize. One prize per student, open to all students.

JUNIORS & SENIORS: Sign up for college representative visits outside of Ms. Wisniewski's office or through this Google Form: https://forms.gle/A4ENsMaQvLwNnG9t8. As a reminder, these are visits where the admissions representative comes to the school (library) to talk about their college. This is NOT a commitment to the institution, it's just a way for you to get more information about it!"

HS STUDENTS: Need some hygiene items like shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, or feminine products? You can get them for FREE! Just stop by the office to grab a quick signup form. A bag with your items will be put in your locker every other month — NO COST, totally confidential, and all provided by the We Are H.E.R.E. program.
SPORTS PHYSICALS: Student Athletes MUST have a current Sports Physical on file to participate in practice and game
STUDENTS THAT ARE DRIVING TO SCHOOL: MUST have a parking PERMIT! Permits are available in the office, please see Mrs. Goyings. PERMITS are $5 dollar and are REQUIRED for all students who drive to school.
REMINDER: Students are not allowed to go to their gym locker during the day unless it is at the time of their scheduled gym class. This means students/student athletes should not access their gym lockers during pass time, lunch or other class times.
REMINDER: THERE ARE NO BACKPACKS, COATS OR BLANKETS ALLOWED IN CLASSROOMS!
REMINDER: THERE ARE NO CELL PHONES IN THE CLASSROOMS OR HALLWAYS (Students may ONLY have cell phones at Lunch).
ALL STUDENTS: Please do NOT enter the library if there is a sign on the door saying that the library is closed. Come back at a later time when the library is open and there is no sign on the door.
PARENTS: REQUIRED All students need to have their parents update their demographic information in Powerschool. Emergency cards & paper forms will not be sent home so it is very important that information & forms are updated and completed in Powerschool. To Login go to the www.holtonschools.com website scroll to bottom of page and choose Powerschool. Once you login, go to Demographic Update (lower left of the screen) and Complete Steps to update current information and complete all the forms (Handbook, concussion, media consent etc.). Be sure to include an email address! Click Submit once completed. If you are having trouble logging on please contact the MS/HS office.
